Window Seat offers a unique perspective on geographical information as viewed from an airplane window. It automatically labels small towns, cities, and various landmarks while you fly, providing an informative experience for observant travelers. The app identifies cities, states, country boundaries, and more, enhancing the in-flight journey.

The extensive database includes over 43,000 geographical entities, encompassing cities, countries, territories, islands, rivers, lakes, mountain ranges, major roads, and airports worldwide. The application's features overlay these geospatial labels directly onto the images captured by your phone’s camera. This dynamic interaction allows labels and boundaries to adjust in real-time as you change your viewing angle.

Notably, Window Seat operates entirely offline; it is fully functional in airplane mode without requiring cellular data or Wi-Fi. The essential tools for use include the phone's GPS and compass, performing optimally when seated by a window.
